Norwich agency beats off national competition to win two UK Digital Experience Awards
GRIT Digital takes home two UK Digital Experience Awards at Wembley Stadium

Norwich based digital agency, GRIT Digital, scooped two national awards at the prestigious UK Digital Experience Awards at Wembley Stadium, including the award for Best Overall Digital Experience.
Competing against international brands including Virgin Money, Three UK and Sage, GRIT Digital won the ‘Not for Profit’ category and was crowned the overall winner across all 20 categories for their work on behalf of the Association of Independent Museums (AIM).
With the UK’s heritage sector facing funding cuts, national charity AIM appointed GRIT Digital to transform their website and improve usability for members.
The project resulted in a significant increase in new associate member signups – boosting AIM’s core funding – and has helped members access vital resources such as grant applications during a time of austerity.
Founded in 2010 by Managing Director Peter Whitmore, GRIT Digital creates websites and apps which provide an exceptional user-experience and deliver substantial return on investment.
Peter says: “We are a small team of 11 so I am incredibly proud that our work has been recognised amongst household names and some of the UK’s leading agencies. It proves you don’t need to be based in London to provide award-winning digital expertise.
Being named as the overall winner was an extremely proud moment for our team and one we won’t forget.”

Further flying the flag for the booming tech industry in Norfolk, earlier this year GRIT Digital was pitted against leading digital agencies from across the UK to win the Recommended Agency Register (RAR) Digital Award in the Web Development Category. This unique accolade is awarded to the agency which receives the most positive feedback from their clients.
