In this role you will join our Edge Development team where we are in the early stages of developing an innovative, cloud-based solution which will form the next generation of Tribal’s market leading student management systems.
Software Development Team Lead – Edge
We are looking for a motivated and diligent professional to join the team in our friendly and supportive Norwich office. As a team lead you will be responsible for ensuring that our software is of the highest quality and fit for purpose. You will be actively involved in leading, and delivering on, activities which can be complex, high profile or require an exceptionally high level of technical competence.
Your role will also involve working with the latest C#/.NET Core framework and related technologies with hands on writing and maintenance of code as well as becoming the technical subject matter expert for your area(s).
You will lead a highly effective team by ensuring that all development activities the team carry out are conducted efficiently and accurately and that committed deliverables are met. You will also ensure that code reviews are completed as well as making sure that the team is engaged, motivated and high performing with any skills gaps addressed effectively and quickly.
Leading by example, you will pro-actively role model exceptional behaviours, coach and mentor your team and ensure the continual improvement of development approaches.
Test Automation Engineer
We are looking for motivated and diligent professionals to join the teams in our Norwich and Hessle offices. You will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the quality of our student management information software through automated and manual test techniques.
Your tasks will be varied and will include following test strategies, using recognised test methodologies, detecting and tracking defects and providing feedback on the suitability of software for release.
You will also be involved in maintaining real-time meta data, providing work estimates and providing third line support to ensure the resolution of queries.
By creating, designing and maintaining automated and manual test scripts and providing input into the design of user acceptance criteria, you will contribute to the team’s overall goal of ensuring that our customers’ expectations are surpassed.
